The conference is organised by four organizations working in the areas of health care, positive mental health and art & culture.


MIND India is a voluntary organization formed in 2006 by a group of committed mental healthcare professionals to address issues related to the challenges of daily living in face of the changing times. The aim is to enable people from all walks of life to avail of the benefits of positive mental health and wellbeing through focused psycho social intervention and counselling, especially in Assam and the North East region of India.
The organization has been founded by Dr.Sangeeta Goswami, a counselling psychologist practicing in the city of Guwahati, Assam.


Dr Yogi's Senior Citizen Care Center has been providing services for senior citizens since 2008 on a holistic care approach to ensure overall wellbeing. The focus is to provide quality care covering the entire gamut of geriatric services including emotional, psychological and social support.

Geriatric care is what will be the most essential service in the coming decade as more than 20 % of the population becomes senior citizens, thus the thrust is to build capacity and support systems to address the looming challenges much ahead in time.
The organization has been founded by Dr. Yogiraj Das a geriatric care specialist of renown in the city of Guwahati, Assam.


Bahar care Foundation formed in 2011 is working to improve the lives of marginalized citizens through promotion of secure, healthy and fulfilling life, in the North-Eastern provinces of India.

The foundation is a memorial tribute to Late Haji Bahar Ali, a humanitarian and philanthropist who set up several institutions for expansion of education in remote areas of the state of Assam. Founded by Dr. Aftab Ali Ahmed, an oncologist of standing in the city of Guwahati, Assam, the organization is actively involved in running the institutions and expanding further.


To be a trans-local initiative which looks at a critical uses of technology, collaborative experiments with local communities in an environmentally and socially sustainable manner.Periferry was nominated for the prestigious European prize Vision art award for socially engaged practice in 2015.

The organization has been founded by Dr. Mriganga Madhukaillya, faculty Design, IIT Guwahati.
