Training for personnel of observation homes for children and women under ICCW  on basic counselling skills and understanding children and adolescents supported by supported by Social Welfare Department, Assam

Training of HIV/AIDS counsellors of Catholic Relief Services, Northeast Chapter to develop skills of counselling and communication for the personnel of CRS working in states of Manipur, Nagaland and Mizoram.

Psychometric assessment and Career Counselling conducted for students in the “Assam Tribune Edufare” (educational fair) supported by Assam Tribune and OIL. More than 1000 students has benefited from the assessment.

2009 onwards

27.    

Development of Life Skills Manual, translation to Assamese language, training of  all Siksha Karmis  as Life Skills Facilitators and imparting Life Skills Training (LST) For Hard to Reach Centres under the Axom Sarba Siksha Abhijan Mission in the State of Assam. Project piloted in 100 centres in the City of Guwahati, supported by UNICEF and SSA.

2008-2009

Training of CBSE School Teachers as Life Skills Facilitators for the Adolescent Students of classes IX & X. Coverage of more than 500 teachers from Assam, Manipur, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Tripura, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland and Sikkim. Supported by Expressions India CBSE, New Delhi.

2008-2009

29.    

Hosted the two day 5thNational Conference for Psychological Counselling on the theme “Understanding Children & Adolescents”. To celebrate in the completion of the organization’s first year, wherein holistic development of adolescents was highlighted. 100 participants were present for the conference from all over India and Sri Lanka

Conducting regular workshops in Counselling Skills by MIND India To help to enhance helping skills in people in the social development sector.  More than 5000 participants attended

From 2007 onwards

Regular workshops on Counselling Skills, understanding children and adolescents imparted to various civil agencies by MIND India .

Expression India, New Delhi, Rotary clubs of North East India, and various ladies clubs like Numaligarh Refinery Ladies club, Mitali Sangha, Shishu Kalyan Sadan

 

From 2007 onwards

Conducted Schools Mental Health Programmes and Life Skills Programmes for various schools. Some major schools are:

Army School, Basistha, Narengi, Borjhar,  Marias Public School, Guwahati, K V Borjhar, Khanapara, Narengi , Refinery, Air Force, Azara, DPS, Duliajan, Guwhati, Loyola School, Nagaon, VKV, Tinsukia, Dibrugarh, Byrihat circles, St Mary’s Manipur to name a few.

2007 onwards

Acted as technical resource for training in Life Skills for NIPCCD, Social Welfare Department, CBSE, administrative Staff college, Academic Staff college, IIBM, NEDFI, ASRLM, NEN, Assam Agriculture University, K K Handiqui State Open University   and other educational institutions  and NGOs and Government departments like Social Welfare, Education departments etc.
