Appointment
The aspirations, needs and wants of children from the society, parents,
teachers and the Government were expressed by the children. To do so, children
on November 14, 2003 were asked to express their views on a 56 meters length of
cloth signifying completion of 56 year of Independence, from the North East
states of India and documented. This
report is the outcome of the activity completed by children from North East
India. The results of the study if taken into consideration while formulating
schemes or updating existing systems will help towards building up the India of
our dreams.
